Tuesday Morning Creative Embroidery with
Josie Storey,

This class suit anyone with a love of
stitching, wanting to learn or to learn more. Bring anything
you are doing to start, otherwise you will
be seriously inspired to do something else! Own materials
required.
3rd June, 17th June, 1st July, 15th
July - £40.00 for 4 classes Learn how to start and finish off
to be able to create a huge variety of jewellery.
Newcomers and beginners are always very welcome to join at

£48.00 This happy group of ladies enjoy all
sorts of needlework and often do small canvaswork projects
together. Do bring something your already stitching or, if
you prefer, Wendy will start you odd withy a collection of
pretty canvaswork stitches. Please bring your own
materials.

Josie has introduced this technique very
successfully in her Tuesday class and we thought more embroiderers
would like to have a go. Create a lovely painted background
on silk and then begin your embroidery. Masses of choice in
threads and embellishments. No artistic expertise require,
just plenty of enthusiasm!
Saturday 27th September £45.00 including materials Collette is offering a choice of
necklaces to day - one is strung on wire with multiple strands
and lovely feature beads and the other is a really striking
graduated necklace with a spiral sewn base onto which loops with
cut and seed beads are sewn. You will probably get the
chance to make earrings too!
Wirework Jewellery with Chrissie
Day - Full Day

Starts at 9.30
am Chrissie is working on a new book at present and will have
plenty of new ideas for jewellery for you to try. You will
learn fantastic techniques, such as how to knit, crochet, wind and
twist wire with beads so that you can produce your own fantastic
jewellery. No previous experience required in this class.
Saturday 25th October £50.00 including materials Be in at the beginning of Kathleen's
new concept. We shall be trapping organza between 2 layers
of plastic, stitching and painting to create a sensational
handbag. Sewing machine with embroidery foot required.
Tuesday Evenings, in blocks of 4 dates £28.00 for 4 evenings 7.00 - 9.00 pm Newcomers and beginners are welcome to
join this ongoing class at anytime. The next set of dates for this
class are: 27th May, 3rd June, 10th June, 17th
June and 24th June 14th June, 12th July, 23rd August,
20th September,11th October, 15th November, 6th December (these dates are not set in stone!) Price to be confirmed 10 am - 4 pm We shall be making four set quilts
using Thimbleberries fabrics together with the option to make a big quilt at the end of the year. Wednesday 5th
November £55.00 including kit Take up a hobby that will last you a
lifetime - guaranteed to be a very enjoyable and informative
day. Learn how to shade softly with wool, how to tackle
corners and master French knots with a printed design, wools and
informative thread booklet. Plus of course Phillipa's vast
knowledge and experience!
Wednesday 12th November £45.00 including materials Make jewellery to match your
Christmas outfits in this class. Collette is offering a
stunning stitched necklace with a matching pendant. Or for
those just starting out, you will create a necklace, bracelet
and matching earrings as well as mastering finishing techniques
to give your work a professional look.
Saturday 29th November £45.00 including materials Sue will be teaching us how to make
her lovely decorations and gifts to decorate your home for
Christmas. This promises to be a fantastic day. Sue
is brimming with ideas - you will create alot and come home in a
very festive mood!
Monday 10th November £45.00 including materials Create flowers for brooches and
corsages. Make colourful felt balls for necklaces - a
completely new type of day!

are held in a converted barn just outside York's outer ring road.
Full day classes
start at 9.30 am, breaking for lunch at 12.30, working through
until 3.45 for tea. PLEASE BRING A
PACKED LUNCH WITH YOU Materials are
included in the price unless otherwise stated. To confirm your
