Crewelwork with Philippa Turnbull
Philippa has really put crewelwork back on the map and rejuvenated an intricate part of our heritage in doing so. She has a great passion for rooting out old pieces and recreating then, finding different stitches and techniques in the process.
We have 2 days this year - one for beginners and one for those who have already had a go. both days will work from a printed design on the best twill in the business, with wools plus a variety of embellishing threads and possibly the odd bead.
We will have a talk at the end of each day whilst you have a rest from stitching and enjoy a cup of tea and cakes!
