Making a Purchase
Just browse the catalogue, click on the items you require and they will be added to your shopping basket. The minimum order value is £5.00. When you have finished shopping, click on ‘order’ and you will then be asked to enter a few details about yourself. You will then be redirected to HSBC’s secure payment page where you can complete your transaction. Alternatively you can make a purchase by ringing the shop on 01904 620587, or by post - the address is at the top of this page.
Payment and delivery

You will be redirected to the HSBC Secure e-Payments site where you can pay by credit or debit card payment. Delivery to mainland UK is free for all orders made via the website and is charged at cost for deliveries outside of mainland UK. Delivery costs are calculated for you at the checkout. Once payment has been received, your goods will be dispatched. We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet.If you wish to order by phone

We accept payment by credit and debit cards (excluding American Express), or by cheque. Delivery for orders made by this method will incurr a postage charge. Theses are as follows:
Within mainland UK
Under £10 - £2.50 postage
£10 - £25 - £3.50 postage
Over £25 - FREE POSTAGE
Outside mainland UK
Postage will be charged at cost depending upon the weight of the items ordered. We will be able to calculate this once the items have been packed up and we will then advise you accordingly. Once payment has been received, your goods will be dispatched.
We aim to send all orders out within 7 working days. International orders are generally received in under 14 working days.If an item is out of stock, we will contact you ASAP, and you will be given the option to cancel the order or for it to be put on back order.
VAT
All items, excluding books, are subject to Value Added Tax, which is currently 20%. For orders outside the United Kingdom and The European Union, all orders are VAT free. You will be given the option to select the VAT exempt button at the checkout stage of your purchase.
Returns
Internet orders - In the event of a product being unsuitable, all returns MUST be received within 28 working days of the original dispatch date in the same condition in which it was received i.e. unopened, copied or used. All returns MUST be accompanied by the original paperwork that was sent to you with your delivery. This does not affect your statutory rights.
